For advisors
Your guest. Our ground.
You keep the relationship. We design and run the journey. Catalog expeditions or a private brief: same desk, same standard, no listing wall between you and the field.
How a partnership works
Write with the guest's dates, party, and what they actually want. We check season, permits, and access before anyone designs a day. If it works, you receive the reasoning and a number. If it does not, you receive that first.
Guests stay with TROPICO for the journey. Trail days run with the local teams who hold that ground. You remain the advisor. We do not take your client onto a later list, and we do not put your name on a public directory.
Catalog placements and private design are the same relationship. A published expedition is a starting shape. Most of what we run is built for one party and never appears on this site.
Guest relationship
Yours. We are the field desk. Introductions come through you, and the guest hears from us as the people running the ground, not as a second advisor.
Catalog or custom
Place a published expedition, or send a brief with no destination in it. We will not staple three trips together and call it a design.
One planner
Sofía reads the brief. The first reply is feasibility, then a number. Nothing is held until that is written.
How a private trip gets built
The same sequence whether the brief comes from a guest or from you.
- 01
A brief, not a booking
Dates, party, fitness, and what you actually want. A catalog slug is fine. So is a paragraph with no country in it. Advisors write the same way; the guest relationship stays with them.
- 02
We check the ground first
Season, permit windows, capacity, current access, and whether the local team will take the dates. This is where we say the month is wrong or the corridor is closed, before anyone designs a day.
- 03
Design against the constraints
Route, lodges or camps, guide ratio, contingency days, a named alternative. Guests stay with TROPICO. Trail days run with the people who hold that ground. You see the reasoning, not a dressed schedule.
- 04
A number, written out
Per person, with inclusions and exclusions in plain lines, and a note on what moves it. No date is held and no deposit is taken until that page is in front of you.
- 05
We run it, and we stay on it
One desk for the guest. Changes in the field are explained the same day. When something breaks at three in the morning, the person you call is the person who planned it.
Ground partners
PLACEHOLDERS only. Names and notes go up after Ops approval. Nothing here is a live endorsement.
